DAY 3 NAIROBI I NYERI
After breakfast, drive along the Great North Road through the land of the Kikuyu tribe, stopping briefly in the market town of Nyeri. Continue on for lunch at a base hotel in the Aberdare National Park, where you depart with only an overnight bag to one of the ‘Tree’ hotels for game viewing at the flood lit water hole. (BLD)

DAY 4 NYERI SAMBURU
Return to the base hotel to pick up your luggage and continue north to reach the Samburu National Reserve. The reserve is on the arid, thorn scrub, semi-desert lands of northern Kenya. After lunch at your lodge you will have an afternoon game drive to search for the animals which are peculiar to this area: lions, crocodiles, elephants, reticulated giraffe, Grevy ‘s zebra and the Somali ostrich. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or tented camp. (BLD)

DAY 5 Samburu
Another day of exploration of this reserve where game is abundant, especially along the Uaso Nyiro River. Retur to your lodge or camp for lunch. Time is allowed for relaxing by the pool. Late afternoon another game drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp. (BLD)

DAY 6 SAMBURTJ / LAKE NAKURU
Leave after breakfast to descend into the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru for lunch. Visit the lake side for the spectacle of more than two million birds of 500 species that find sanctuary here on the alkaline waters. Overnight at lodge in the park. (BLD)

DAY 7 LAKE NAKLJRU / MASAI MARA
Todav’s drive will take you across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to reach Kenya’s most famous wildlife reserv the Masai Mara noted for its predators. Lunch in the reserve is followed by an afternoon game drive searching for lion, cheetah, giraffe and 60 other species of game. Accommodation for two nights is provided at a lodge or tented camp. DAY 8 Masai Mara
Breakfast is followed by a game drive. Return to your lodge or tented camp for lunch. Time is allowed for relaxing by the pool and watching the wildlife on this the northern extension of the Serengeti Plains. Late aftemo another game drive is taken over the savannah and streams in the reserve. (BLD)

DAY 9 MASAI MARA I NAIROBI
Following breakfast leave the Mara for the return to Nairobi, arriving by early afternoon. The balance of the day at leisure. (B)

DAY 10 NAIROBI / AMBOSELI
After breakfast you drive south through Masai tribal country and arriving Amboseli National Park in time for lunch. An afternoon game drive in the park searching for elephant eminently photogenic in these splendid surroundings at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at your lodge. (BLD)

DAY 11 AMBOSELI / NAIROBI
Before breakfast, rise from an early morning game drive and an opportunity to see the peak of Mount Kilimanjaroappear from behined the clouds. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then another game drive is scheduled. After lunch in the park depart from Nairobi which is reached by late afternoon. (B)

DAY 12 EN ROUTE
Transfer to the airport in time for your final departure. (B)
